Providing Support and Companionship to Veterans

At Exotico Savannahs, we believe in giving back to those who have selflessly served our country. That's why we're proud to introduce our Boots in Service program – an initiative dedicated to providing valuable support and companionship to veterans through the power of pets.

The Power of Pet Ownership for Veterans

Pet ownership has been proven to have numerous benefits for veterans, both in terms of physical and mental well-being. Studies have shown that pets can help reduce stress levels, decrease symptoms of depression and anxiety, and provide unconditional love and companionship.

Enhancing Quality of Life

At Boots in Service, we understand the unique challenges faced by many veterans as they transition back to civilian life. Our program aims to enhance the quality of life for these individuals by connecting them with specially trained service animals and emotional support pets.

Service Animals

We work closely with accredited organizations to match veterans with service animals that are trained to assist with specific tasks such as mobility support, PTSD support, and medical alert. These highly trained animals can make a significant difference in the everyday lives of our veterans, helping them regain independence and confidence.

Emotional Support Pets

In addition to service animals, Boots in Service also provides emotional support pets to veterans who may benefit from the presence of a loving and supportive companion. These pets offer a source of comfort and unconditional love, helping to alleviate symptoms associated with various mental health conditions.

How You Can Contribute

We believe that everyone can play a role in supporting our veterans. There are several ways you can contribute to our Boots in Service program:

1. Adopt or Foster a Pet

Consider opening your heart and home to a service animal or emotional support pet in need. By providing a loving environment, you can make a profound impact on the life of a veteran.

2. Volunteer

Volunteer your time and skills to help train and care for the service animals and emotional support pets in our program. Your dedication can make a difference in the lives of both the animals and the veterans they assist.

3. Donate

Make a financial contribution to our Boots in Service program. Your donation will go towards training, veterinary care, and ongoing support for our service animals and emotional support pets.
